Firebird Trio returns to MDCH with two epic Romantic works for an exhilarating evening of music making. Hear the love poem ‘Gretchen’ from Franz Liszt’s Faust Symphony lovingly transcribed for the trio by pianist/composer Benjamin Martin.

Firebird welcomes violinist Oksana Thompson and violist Wenhong Luo in the magnificent Piano Quintet in A major of Antonin Dvořák – a masterpiece brimming with Bohemian passion, folk tunes and spirit. Enjoy this concert online or be closer to the action in the live studio audience at Melbourne’s Athenaeum 2 upstairs.
